ABBA’s Björn Ulvaeus generated buzz at SXSW’s flagship Austin festival and at a posh London party with word of enormous embracement for a pioneering AI-aided musical endeavor. The as-yet-untested project, operating under the working title “Kiss,” will use advanced artificial intelligence and virtual avatars to overhaul live entertainment.
Ulvaeus continued to describe how the new musical would mix ABBA’s time-less songs and state-of-the-art technology to allow the audience to gain from digital images of artists in new and creative ways. The show will transform live music experience through mixing the integrity of ABBA’s time-less music and excitement of state-of-the-art digital production.
“Kiss” will first be felt across the globe in London, where the audience there gets to see a groundbreaking combination of story-telling, music, and tech magic. Avatars and AI will change the way audiences perceive their favorite artists, getting them to see what concerts and plays of the future are like.
